Don't be too negative about Negatives!!!
Speaking about Present Simple Negatives the only thing you (or your students) need to remember or to explain very clearly is the difference of usage between DO and DOES. I know you've heard hundreds of times. However, it's the number one mistake among top 5.
So if you are not comfortable with using DO & DOES correctly, please practice it again. You can find some reference in the article Present Simple Question.
In case, you are quite confident in your students' knowledge feel free to continue reading this article.
We remember using Do with pronouns I, you, we, they. In negative form we add 'not' right after Do.
e.g. We don't need any help from him.
He doesn't work on Fridays.
I don't speak French at all.
