Past Participle

For those who have just started studying English I will explain what it is, because it can lead to some confusion.

Past Participle

It is the third form of the verb, which used for tense formation. IT IS NOT A TENSE ALREADY. It is just some form of a verb that is needed. It is used to create active and passive tense structures.
Active: Present Perfect Simple, Past Perfect Simple and Future Perfect Simple.
Passive: almost in every tense form.

How to form it?

Formation depends on verb. Regular verbs form Past Participle by simply adding +ed to the stem. The rules are the same as for Past Simple with regular verbs.

With irregular verbs everything is much easier ;-) You just need to memorise all the three forms for all irregular verbs! Don't be scared of it. It's not that difficult.

For better understanding I provide a presentation
