I'd like to share with you some useful stuff which I found out there, on the Internet.
First of all I'd like to share the link to some wonderful audio websites.

My first discovery was Learn Englsh TV. I recommend to spend some time surfing around this website, because it is quite unique. It contains a lot of reading and audio material good both for teachers and for selfstudying. In short, information is divided by levels or by categories which is really nice.

Secondly, thre is a huge bunch of different podcasts with video and without. You are free to choose whatever you want. Here several links for you podcasts in EnglishBBC podcasts, etc. Go out there and find out  favourite.

Probably, for now it is all I'd like to share with you guys, but remember I'll let you know in case I find something really interesting.

Let's keep in touch!

present simple negative

Don't be too negative about Negatives!!!
Speaking about Present Simple Negatives the only thing you (or your students) need to remember or to explain very clearly is the difference of usage between DO and DOES. I know you've heard hundreds of times. However, it's the number one mistake among top 5.

Questions are not that difficult!!!

general question
My teacher at school used to say: "... in order to make a question make up a sentence first in your head!" Believe it or not I still use it when I'm stuck in the middle of a talk!

The explanation first, than I will give some very good pieces of advice!

Almost every question in English is based on the structure of general questions. So how do we form a general question? Very simple. Start with the sentence. Let's look at the example.

Teaching Present Simple Tense for Elementary students seems to be quite easy, but students can ask tricky questions that occasionally confuse even such talented teachers as you are :)

present simple

Usage

The first thing you need to know about Present Simple (to explain it to your students) is that it has some general information or the action has some frequency.

General information

"The Moon goes around the Earth"
"Animals have instincts"

Present Simple action telsl us about some general truth or fact. We don't mean anything specific. Just some general stuff.

There're few very simple rules for adding -(e)s  endings. Mostly they are about spelling.

So here we go!!!

While adding -(e)s look carefully at the final letter of a verb. It hepls to understand whether to use -es or just -s is enough in Present Simple.
